Weld-On & Pin-On Options Available
Hydraulic Thumbs are available with both a weld-on base plate & a pin-on system. This allows for compatibility with a wide range of excavators. The weld-on option has a single base plate for welding, meaning there is no need to remove the dipper pin. The pin-on option pivots on the dipper arm pin, following the same curl radius as a bucket.

Universal Design & Fully Retractable
The thumb is fully retractable preventing interference with other non-grabbing operations.

Oversized Ram With Balance & Relief Valves
The thumb is equipped with an oversized ram and integrated relief valves. The oversized ram provides increased gripping force, allowing the thumb to handle heavier and more awkward-shaped materials. This reduces stress on the hydraulic system, extending the lifespan of the thumb.

Manifold Distribution Blocks
Hydraulic hoses are routed into the distribution blocks, then to the grab’s main manifold block. This prevents damage to the main cylinder in case of a snagged hose, facilitating easier maintenance. Relief valves protect the hydraulic system from potential damage, ensuring there is no need for costly repairs.
