How to Measure Your Excavator Bucket Pin Dimensions

HOW TO MEASURE EXCAVATOR BUCKET PIN DIMENSIONS: A STEP BY STEP GUIDE - Main Image

Getting your pin dimensions right is the most important step when ordering a new attachment. We have many OEM specifications on file, but we'll always ask you to verify measurements yourself - because a perfect fit starts with accurate numbers.

What You'll Need

Grab a Vernier calliper (preferred) or tape measure, and head to an existing bucket or attachment that fits your dipper arm or quick hitch correctly.

The Five Measurements We Need

Take measurements A, B, C, D, and E as accurately as possible. In most cases A = B and C = D, but it's worth checking both - some machines vary.

Quick Tip

Pin diameters typically come in 5mm increments (25mm, 30mm, 35mm, etc.). If your measurement falls between these, give us a call on 1300 295 369 and we'll help you confirm.

How to Submit Your Measurements

Call us on 1300 295 369 or email your measurements to sales@aussiebuckets.com.au. Include your invoice number or the name your enquiry was placed under. Clear photos are helpful, but always include the written measurements as well.
